Chris represents clients in a variety of legal matters including real estate transactions, civil litigation, estate planning, social security disability cases, and business transactions. Chris is a lifelong resident of Williams County. Prior to completing law school, Chris served as a police officer for the Montpelier Police Department and he is now the Law Director for the Village of Montpelier. Chris has taught college classes on real estate, criminal law, law office technology, and ethics.
EDUCATION: Honors graduate of The University of Toledo College of Law (Magna Cum Laude, 2005); Member of the Order of the Coif national legal honor society (top 10% of his law school class); Dean’s Law Scholarship recipient; Associate Member of The University Toledo Law Review.
Bachelor of Science with a major in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Ball State University (Cum Laude, 1998).
BAR ADMISSIONS: Ohio (2005); Michigan (2006); Indiana (2008); approved to practice in federal district courts for the Northern District of Ohio, Southern District of Ohio, Northern District of Indiana, Southern District of Indiana, and the Western District of Michigan.

PERSONAL INTERESTS: Chris enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, running, Jeeping, and other outdoor activities. He has participated in a number of triathlons and half-marathons. In 2009 he completed the Chicago full marathon.
